For many airline passengers, airline safety announcements go in one ear and out of the other. So, it’s often left to the crew to make sure that they are as exciting and interesting as possible.

No easy task, we must admit.

But with a dry sense of humour and a quick wit, you’ll be amazed at how this flight attendant managed to inject a serious sense of fun into her pre-flight announcement.

She even has a good sense of humour when she notices that a passenger is making a recording of her on their mobile phone – a temperament that is extremely rare these days, as you can’t seem to go anywhere without having a phone shoved in your face!

And, without so much as cracking a smile herself, this smart and extremely funny flight attendant’s sense of humour can be heard throughout the duration of the announcement.

First up, she covers the all important water evacuation procedures. A passenger’s worst nightmare, and not what you want to hear when you are about to take off, right?

All the same, it’s the responsibility of all worldwide airline’s to ensure that passengers, in the words of our hilarious attendant, know exactly how to do their best “swan dive” when leaving an aircraft in an emergency.

And if the safety instructions do leave you feeling slightly hot under the collar, nervous for the flight ahead and in desperate need of a smoke, don’t worry, according to the flight attendant they are there to “help you quit smoking for the next hour!”

After telling passengers that the oxygen masks will “drop just like magic in an event of an emergency” she goes on to tell passengers how to use them stating: “quack like a duck, grab a couple of pictures for Facebook and breathe normally.”

She ends the announcement by saying:  “We’re glad you’re here. Sit back, relax and enjoy your flight.”
